Fantastic starter options include the mouth-watering smoked salmon plate, the white bean and vegetable soup, as well as a variety of decadent cheese plates. Great as usual. Wasn’t crazy about the L’entrecote due to whatever oil it was seared in. Tasted like vegetable oil, which my date and I weren’t big fans of. But other than that, amazing restaurant and a go-to staple for me.

Ordered Mussels: never seen something like that. Huge mussels, dry, a little bit of sauce at the bottom. Ugly. French fries were crispy brown sticks? Has nothing to do with french fries. My wife ordered the special: snapper over pasta. To this day, we don't know what type of old frozen fish was served? Dessert: Supposed to be strawberry sorbet. Was more like ice cream. We were there when this restaurant open. For a long time, they were serving excellent food. It looks like that the quality of food has seriously degraded. Sorry Chris. Not worth the money!

I have always enjoyed Cafe Rabelais and my Steak au Poivre entré didn’t disappoint again. The filet was done perfectly to medium rare and the fries were excellent. Two of the others in our party of four didn’t fare as well. They had ordered the flounder special and it was a disappointment. It was dry and lacked flavor. Even when they asked for and added extra sauce, it didn’t help. The service was helpful, speedy and friendly - as always. We shall return to Cafe Rabelais but be more careful with our choices.

The food is outstanding. The water is filtered and bottled when brought to the table. The service is off the charts and amazing. The servers are very kind and courteous. They will honor any dietary restrictions or needs that one might have. The ambiance is elegant. The lights are dimmed.

Food is always delicious and inviting. Our favorite place for escargot and a great variety of wine to choose from. We frequent the cafe as often as we can. Th desserts are outstanding.

The escargot leans into a magnificent ride into butter and garlic for the evening. Service is exceptional….also you can go next door and get a cigar for an evening snack.
