Wonderful food and service! Highlights were the courgette flower fritti and the tortelli with ricotta, spinach and sage butter. They were also very accommodating about my friend's honey allergy.

Originally booked for bar but didn’t think Mum would be able to climb up so asked for a table - luckily it was quiet and one was available although it was upstairs with no one up there so felt a bit ‘lonely’. Staff were very friendly and attentive, I did think we’d be forgotten but we weren’t. Waiter was very good with mum on wine ordering he gave her 3 tasters and she didn’t like any so went back to strawberry cocktail of the day and he still smiled. Food was tasty, the main did turn up a bit in the cold side but it was no problem to get it sorted and another was brought up hot and an apology from manager. Mum loved her risotto I had puttanesca very tasty

Another excellent meal. We chose to eat at the bar which is often quiet as not so near the tables. 3 plus hours from 3.30pm went very quickly. Our favourite restaurant in Covent Garden.

Portions for the pre theatre menu were like a child’s portions. What we had was well cooked and full of flavour but I left feeling hungry.

Great bar service. Really enjoyed sitting at the bar counter and chatting to bar staff while being served delicious food. Chicken milanese was excellent as was all the food, finished off with a 10/10 panna cotta. Will go again soon and will definitely sit at the bar!

Lovely staff and fantastic food. Been to cafe murano at st James also but we both agree this venue and experience was far better. Very good value also and pre-theatre menu superb.

Enjoyable pre-theatre meal with my daughter. We were placed at the bar which was fine, although seats were a little high for me so it would have been nice to be offered a choice. Food was excellent. Limited, but perfectly satisfactory, options for the pre-theatre menu. Friendly staff, with service appropriately timed for us to make it to the Aldwych Theatre without rushing.

Sunday 11th March - 5 of us. Staff were attentive and helpful. The food was poor and not generous. Pear salad with walnuts and cheese - hardly any cheese no walnuts - were not offered any bread. Nocci were really horrible . Cheese was good. Sea bream for two - was ok but arrived with only a bunch of rocket on top(we said no to fennel) no sauce nothing - just a big fish! Staff were good tho - kitchen is lacking.

We love Angela’s food and will be back. Starters were delicious and great and pasta was very good if not quite at Limewood levels of amazing ness
