We visited the restaurant with our two granddaughters. It was busy, but not overwhelmingly so. Despite that, we experienced a long wait for our food, and it wasn’t clear why it took so long.

I enjoyed brunch here service is always great and food fantastic! Wine prices really good too! You can’t go wrong with the view either!

We always a good meal at Cafe Modern. Relaxed atmosphere and good food and wonderful views.

Overall our experience was good. We ordered appetizers, but they were out of one of them so they subbed it for something else. We waited for our waiter for another 20+ minutes so we could order our lunch, but I ended up having to get his attention because he wasn’t stopping. He didn’t write down our order, then came back 15 minutes later not having submitted it yet to make sure he didn’t mess anything up, without writing it down again, and then ended up leaving off an entree for one person. He didn’t get his food until 20 minutes after the rest of us because he completely forgot it. Other than that, food was good, atmosphere was nice, it’s a bit loud and echoey, but overall good experience.

Great place for a lovely relaxed lunch. Chinois chicken salad is a favorite. Go on Friday and tour the exhibit at the Museum for free.
