Meet Chef Linus & Yvonne, the new owners of Café Largo! The restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday, serving the finest European cuisine. We've been overwhelmed with the warm embrace of the community, we recommend a reservation so we can have a special table waiting just for you!

Established in 1986 and located in the Tampa/St Petersburg area near the beautiful Belleair Bluff’s neighborhood, Café Largo is nested at the end of a quiet courtyard in the Galleria Plaza. You will be greeted by the Chef's lovely wife, Yvonne Rickenbach, into our intimate dining room that creates a perfect atmosphere for a romantic night on the town, a quiet evening with friends, or even an elegant family celebration.
Chef Linus Rickenbach specializes in a revival of classic French cuisine. Using only the freshest ingredients, everything we serve – from breads and soups through entrees and desserts - is prepared locally in our kitchen. Café Largo is truly a fine dining restaurant.

Great restaurant run by a lovely couple who really know how to treat their customers well. Food is outstanding. This is a hidden gem. Go you won’t be disappointed.

Chef Linus always prepares a delicious meal. I chose the June menu and it was excellent! Yvonne always makes you feel welcome 😄

Wonderful dining experience tonight. Group of six. We dined on escargot, steak tartar, great mushroom soup and salads to start the night. Entrees of roasted pork, lamb chops, veal chops, fish special, beef stroganoff, and duck. All were cooked to perfection and flavored wonderfully. We consumed two bottles of French red wine, and finished every thing off with desserts. Our service was perfect and the plate presentation was beautiful. Cannot wait for a return visit.

Linus and Yvonne provide an quiet, elegant dinner experience. Food prep was excellent, service was attentive. It's an interesting experience in that we can have a very nice time in a very quiet atmosphere. A variety of European dishes available, not just "French" as the name might suggest. Not an inexpensive dinner, but we were very happy (as we always have been) with Cafe Largo.

Amazing food prepared creatively by Chef Linus. We loved the Sea Bass served over a pesto risotto. He truly cared about our experience as he came out several times during our dinner service to see how we were enjoying our meal. Yvonne, who hosts the front of the house, was charming and made us feel very much at home. Together, they both have us looking forward to our next visit in the near future.

Had all the marks of a great dinner but beside the appetizers the entree were all overcooked and food was just sad.

Cafe Largo is a delightful French bistro experience that deserves every 5-star. From the moment you step in, you're transported to a Parisian cafe, with its charming ambiance. The menu boasts an array of delectable French classics, expertly prepared and presented. Our meal last night, an authentic wiener schnitzel for my wife scrumptious sea bass for me, served with oven toasted was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and authenticity. The service is impeccable, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended for any occasion!

Food and service were phenomenal! Steak with Bernaise was the best I have had and my friend had sea bass which was also amazing! Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
