    Cafe Juanita is pleased to offer prix-fixe multi-course tasting menus only. The tasting menus have four iterations from which you can choose: omnivore, pescatarian, vegetarian, or vegan. We are happy to modify dishes for dietary restrictions; please advise when making reservations. Dress code is elegant, formal; no athletic or leisure attire please. Cafe Juanita does not have a kids' menu or special amenities for children. If you are interested in including a child in your group, please call us at 425.823.1505

    Cafe Juanita is always a treat. Not just the food (which is world class) but also how beautifully the staff cares for you. What a delight! Flawless.

    We both chose the pescatarian tasting menu and we weren't disappointed. From the amuse bouche to the dessert (not to mention the chocolate truffle and fruit cube at the very end), everything was fabulous. My partner felt that the sous vide scallops in cuttlefish ink mayonnaise was the best thing he'd ever eaten. I felt the same about the halibut in spot prawn bisque. Other highlights were the chanterelle tagliatelle and the beet salad with cinder toffee and sherry vinegar syrup. The torta de mele was fabulous. Our server was Kandra and she was a delight--always professional and very knowledgeable. I think we've been going for close to 40 years. We'll be back.

    Had the omnivore tasting menu, while my wife had the vegetarian menu with some vegan substitutions. The food was as good as expected (my wife preferred it to the food at The Herb Farm, although the latter is more of an experience), and the wine pairing was an excellent match. The quantity wasn't too little exactly, but at the same time I wasn't sorry I'd forgotten to skip lunch, which I'd typically do for a tasting menu. Service was also excellent: attentive without being at all intrusive. I loved that the tables were large enough that we could sit either facing or side-by-side.

    This was our second time dining at Cafe Juanita and it turned out even better than the first. My wagyu croccante and wagyu New York steak were both standouts for me. My partner loved his halibut and chanterelle tagliatelle. My tajarin with sage butter and the vegan chocolate mousse were also fantastic.

    This used to be the best Italian restaurant in Seattle. It is no longer that; frankly, it’s no longer even an Italian restaurant. It’s some kind of Asian/Italian fusion monstrosity that costs more than either Canlis or the Herb Farm. It was $800 for two (with a set menu and three glasses of wine). If we’d added the caviar app and the wine pairing, it would have been $1,300. It is obscene.

    Amazing special occasion place - expect to pay a grip. Just came back from Italy and my observation was the food was very much in synch with what’s happening in the food scene there. Will be back for sure.

    Cafe Juanita is at the top of their game, and certainly at the top of fine dining in the Seattle area. The service impresses at every level, from the reservation reminder call, to the host's greetings, the sommelier, the servers, all so very warm and professional. And what comes out of the kitchen is simply one delight after another, the amuse bouche, the wagyu carpaccio, the venison, and my all-time favorite, the risotto. And so many others. Great cocktails, and a wine list to die for. Just the best place in the PNW. Thank you, Chef Holly and all your wonderful crew, for another memorable evening.
