One of my favorite places to take friends from out of town especially. Great food. And great experience all around. Always.

Absolutely delicious and very pretty restaurant with a nice garden patio. It is a new favorite for me.

The Service was not the best. The food was just ok. The Melrose location is much better.

They said I missed my reservation when I was right there at counter when they checked me in. I got the email from Open Table about missing my reservation and had to go to the host to change it. Annoying!

As always the food was consistent, the service good and the vibe carried the night. Not sure what happened to the question of the day - you should definitely bring that back - but all in all a delicious and healthy evening.

We planned a special dinner with someone between flights at LAX. Unfortunately, that person had a travel problem which threatened to end the trip causing loss of major work so ended up on their phone, computer, etc. the whole time. The staff were understanding and supportive. We sat on their lovely patio and had a delicious meal with a server who kindly provided what we needed when we needed it. We spent over two unrushed hours but I assume if we were in a hurry, that would have been accommodated as well. None of us is vegan, but 2 of us are non-dairy and eat very little red meat. What a pleasure it was to be able to order anything on the menu that looked good- and so much looked good. All three meals were wonderful. I ordered Yo Soy Fuerte on the urging of a man at the table next to us, and he was right. It was fabulous. So was the amazing walnut chocolate chip cookie, and that's evidently not even the most ordered favorite. Cafe Gratitude did everything right last night, and our only regret was not being fully able to enjoy it due to the tension-inducing problem. Oh, also everything was clean (should go without saying but doesn't always), and they even provided a blanket when the evening turned cool. We highly recommend Café Gratitude. PS - The travel problem finally resolved with only 15 minutes to spare, so our companion made the flight. We will all return when we can celebrate and fully appreciate a marvelous restaurant!
