Café Figaro is a warm and inviting Italian restaurant in Burlingame. The cozy dining room has a relaxed atmosphere to it and is decorated with a blend of tradition and modern styles. We really enjoyed our dinner once we finally got seated. Had a 7 pm reservation but didn't get seated for 25 minutes. They were very busy but don't seem to have it together in getting people seated on time. A group of 3 before us were losing patience until they finally got seated. They need to fund a solution. It's great being busy , but you don't want to lose customers either. There are so many choices for Italian on this street alone. The food overall was very good. Portion size on the Saltimbocca plate was really small. The veal portion was ok, but the small little mound of mashed potatoes and the few bits of al dente veggies should honestly been bigger. There was a large open space on my plate which made it all the more obvious! It can't cost that much more for a bit bigger portion of both. Would have made me feel better about spending $34.95..I believe that's what I paid. I eat out a lot and it bugs me when portions are stingy like that. Hopefully I will return as like I said the food was very tasty indeed.

I always have a great meal when I eat at Café Figaro. It is my go to restaurant now. I will bring all my friends here.

Four of us ate outside, on the small, open patio. The service was excellent, and our dinners were delicious.

The 2 times I have ordered the seafood entree (red snapper; branzino) at Cafe Figuro has been well worth it! Probably, as good as one can get, without going to a fish restaurant.

We always enjoy our meals at Figaro, very comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. Although it was very busy when we were there, we weren’t rushed and had a great dinner.
