This is the wonderful Café en Seine, one of Dublin’s most iconic and stunning venues, nestled in the heart of Dublin on Dawson Street. Renowned for its five-star service, Café en Seine offers an extensive food menu which caters for a range of tastes and occasions. A lovely evening. Not over full and a timely meal. Delicious. Service was great. Will be back for three Christmas treats in a row

We arrived 10 minutes early for our reservation and were told to come back at the exact time even though there were many tables available. The seating hostess was not the most friendly. Not a great first impression. We were a family of 5 people so they put us at a table for 4 people with an extra chair so a bit tight. We were not walk ins so I would have expected a bigger table. The waitress was lovely and the food was quite good. Only One option for vegetarians unfortunately and dessert menu was very limited so not good if you are keen on your after dinner chocolate fix. We did enjoy the food but I wouldn’t rush back for the frosty reception.

The girl serving us was very friendly and even though we were only given a brunch menu (for a 3.30pm reservation???), the food was very tasty. However, when our time was up, no member of staff asked us for the table back, they simply just started removing our tables & chairs, which still had our coats and phones on them. Clear & respectful communication would have been appreciated here, especially as we just spent over €500!

Always came for previous years for drinks before food somewhere else and decided to come for food this year, great spot. Only bad point was the server with the beard and white shirt was very rude to us upon arriving at our table. He should learn the rule of think before you speak. Other than that it was amazing and we'll see you next year. Rob

We had 3 waitresses 2 of which were lovely however when we asked the 3rd for a water bowl or serviettes for chicken wings it was met with absolute rudeness. Also , had to wait 20 mins for the last main course to arrive so we had all finished ours at this stage but I guess they were busy

We booked a table for 2 to have a Christmas night out in town, we chose a time in the afternoon as there were not many slots available. We have been there many times before, and each time, it never disappoints. The food is very, very good and the service was excellent, the 2 hour alloted time slot soon flew in but we were able to obtain a table outside to continue our Christmas night out - highly recommend this place for a night out.
