Cute patio, delicious drinks , and guacamole. Chilaquiles were sadly lacking in flavor though. Our waitress was amazing 10 stars to her.

Natalia and the owner were both great to us! She was our waitress. She recommended a great appetizer and accommodated a special request.. He stopped at the table, chatted, and even gave us a house infused pineapple shot.

Our family has been visiting El Tapatio for 25 years. We celebrated our daughter’s 18th birthday there today. We were not disappointed. Our favorite place!

We arrived on time for our reservation only to see a large festival happening outside. We approached the host and were told “oh we must’ve forgot to cancel your reservation.” It was a 2 hour wait and we left. I’ve never experienced that from a restaurant before.

Amazing experience every single meal I have had there has been phenomenal. Cannot say enough about the restaurant, its staff, the food & dessert. 100/10 always recommend this spot to family and friends!

Cafe El Tapatio is a great neighborhood restaurant. Cocktails and Margaritas were made to perfection our favorite was the Mezcal drink that was served like a smokey old fashion. Al Pastor Tacos and Chicken Fajitas were both quite tasty. Staff got us seated quickly and was very attentive.

Very disappointed. We’ve been coming to El Tapatio for years but the service has gone dramatically downhill recently. It took 15min to get met by our server and order drinks. Our meal came out before our appetizer and without our child’s dish. We saw our server twice in an hour and didn’t have an opportunity to order a second round of drinks. The food is great and the owner is always a nice, personable guy but they’re either severely understaffed or stopped putting an emphasis on the quality of service.
