Easy access and great service … hungry for a great eggs Benedict ? It’s a sweet neighborhood standby . The food is always very fresh and well prepared .

We've only been living in NW Portland for a bit over a year. We tend to stay within walking distance, so Cafe Du Berry is a bit off our path. A meeting nearby put us across the street at lunchtime, so we tried it. Fantastic steak sandwich. Tender NY strip on a fresh baguette. So, a few days later, we decided to try their brunch. Super eggs Benedict. And wonderful service. When the eggs came out with hard yolks, the waiter, aghast, immediately took the plate back and returned shortly with perfectly poached eggs and fresh Hollandaise sauce. He reduced our bill and gave us a coupon for a free desert. After two perfect meals, we took the bus to their doorstep (the 35) and had a stupendous dinner. We ordered a small salad (that was anything but) of fresh-from-their-garden butter lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, and a delicious dressing. We then ordered the duck breast with black current puree. Absolutely marvelous! We finished off with a perfect flan. (The food was so distractingly good, I forgot about the coupon.) With wine and tip, the total was under $100.

Café Duve is one of our very favorite restaurants. The food is fabulous and the weight staff and owners are delightful welcoming and always so friendly. We love this place.🎉

Such a cute spot! We cannot wait to go back! Love how it’s a house turned into restaurant. Extremely home-y and absolutely delicious food. Great ambiance for a date night!

I haven’t been here in several years, but the spinach omelette is just as good as I remembered. Noticeable as sometimes your memory is better than the actual—not this time, omelette was delicious . This is a fantastic place for any meal.

The restaurant appears to be a little bit worn, but food and service still terrific. We sat upstairs, and it was quiet, and terrific for conversation.

We have come to Cafe Du Berry periodically over the years and still enjoy it. Great service and food. It's kind of a neighborhood restaurant for us.
