With roots tracing back to the 1970s, The Chalkboard brings its modern bistro-style concept to Oklahoma City, offering American fare and artisanal cocktails. Don't miss the chance to savor our legendary Beef Wellington, prepared according to the original recipe that has stood the test of time.

The Chalkboard is located in Oklahoma City's Midtown District, open 365 days a year. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. We can accommodate most dietary needs. All guests of The Chalkboard can take advantage of complimentary valet-service at the hotel entrance.

Service was good. Food was excellent. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was very tasty, and the halibut was delicious.

This intimate fine dining experience was wonderful. Great service and great food. We tried a little bit of everything between the four of us. Our favorites were the Beef Wellington and the Short Ribs. Especially good was the Potato Gnocchi. The Spinach Artichoke Dip had a smoky flavor and was very good. All the desserts were wonderful, but the favorite was the bread pudding and sticky toffee pudding. The atmosphere was nice and intimate. We would highly recommend!

Nice cocktails and excellent food. The Beef Wellington was perfectly prepared and delicious. The halibut was delicious but slightly overcooked. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

It was delightful to have Beef Wellington Bites for an appetizer, and they were delicious. Fried green tomatoes were good, too. The Cauliflower Harissa had just the right amount of spicy heat and plenty of farro. The green beans on the Cauliflower Harissa were cooked perfectly. The halibut was cooked well, but lacked flavor; however, it was served on a yummy bed of lentils, I think. The creamy orzo served on the side of the halibut was rich and flavorful. Last, but not least, the chocolate cake was divine. I wish they would figure out how to serve a dessert souffle. Our server was Dylan. He was well-informed regarding the menu items and guided our choices wisely. I recommend that you ask to sit in Dyaln's station.

Weekday lunch - not busy and nice atmosphere. Took awhile to get our food and both of our orders were incorrect. Wrong dressing for me and half sandwich instead of whole for my husband. We ate what arrived instead of sending it back. It was tasty though. We might return for dinner. Love the Ambassador and O Bar so worth trying again.

My sister comes in from Texas every other month and we go out to breakfast. We try to eat at different restaurants and this time we chose the Chalkboard Kitchen. It was amazing the staff The food was great definitely would recommend it.

Took my wife out for her Birthday and we had a great experience. The service, food, and drinks were wonderful. We did not try any desert but I can't imagine they would anything other than fantastic. We are planning to go back again and again.

Service was poor. Server was uninformed about food and wine menu. Food was not good. Worst Wellington I’ve ever had. Will not be going back.
