Café Con Leche opened its doors in 2001 on Milwaukee Avenue in the heart of Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood. It’s become a popular restaurant for dinner, lunch, and breakfast in Logan Square.

Since then, Café Con Leche has been serving both Mexican breakfast favorites and Latin dinner classics, paired with delectable desserts and coffees. From fresh salsas with a perfect balance of spices, to delicious slow-roasted pork and savory meats, there’s something delectable for everyone.

This place hit the spot for our Valentine's Day dinner. The special menu was just what we were looking for. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We were both really happy with our choices. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

We got to the restaurant and I told someone that came by to great us by sign where it says to wait to be seated that I had a reservation for two under my name, but they seemed confused about it… then she took us to our table in the back area and pointed us toward a table that had only one chair and walked away. As we waited standing up for someone else to help us find another seat, I noticed that they were overwhelmed with their crowd. We had ceviche and empanadas for appetizers both were tasty. I had the pastor pork chops. Which they seem to be be just pan-seared and tossed with salsa rather than marinated as stated on the menu. The mashed potatoes were just dry as sand can be, they didn’t even tasted like mashed potatoes nor they look like it. Tampiqueña was good and well paired with its side dishes. We both had 2 mezcal mango cocktails which were great. Our server was attentive.

Got seated right away and served somewhat quickly. The value of the Chicago Restaurant Week menu was great! Food was delicious.

The food was fantastic and beyond value given the pricing for restaurant week. I would definitely return to check it out. It was quite louder than my liking, but ok. The servers were very nice and attentive.

We dined here because of the amazing reviews and Restaurant Week value. The food was outstanding and beautifully presented. All of the staff was very kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved this place. Not only was the presentation superb but the meal itself was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back.

This was one of the best meals I've had in a very very long time. Insanely great value for a $45 4 course restaurant week menu. They did not skimp out on portions as often happens with restaurant week menus, and honestly each course could've been it's own meal. It was our first time here, and we will definitely return. The service was incredible, the food was incredible, the ambiance/vibes were incredible, and I also particularly enjoyed the music that was playing.

Went here for the very first time this weekend and was really surprised by their customer service and, of course, the food. Once I made the reservation our host gave me a call before hand so he could attend the comments I put in it and make sure we had a pleasant experience. When we arrived, the place was busy but we only had to wait a minute so we could get to our table. And we had a few waiters coming up to us to bring us our food, water and taking plates away. Food was amazing, a true homage to Latin culture with the traditional flavors in full display in each bite. Also loved their music selection. Will be visiting this place often from now on. Thanks to Waldo and the amazing Cafe con Leche staff for that wonderful night.
