Cafe Azafran serves up an award-winning blend of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Recently taking home the 2019 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast for the second year in a row was Café Azafran, their quality of food and freshness speaks for itself. Each dish from tapas to our large plates will leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit. Menu is subject to change at Chefs request! We have live entertainment every Thursday!!!!
Located on the ocean block of Baltimore Avenue, in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Cafe Azafran has a cozy dining area, with a spacious covered screened in back porch, in order to enjoy the ocean air while you eat fresh, delicious menu items.

We have been coming to Rehoboth for many, many years and don't know how we could have missed Cafe Azafran, but this was our first visit. It won't be our last. The food was fabulous. The many tapas choices gave us a good sample of the cafe's talent. The service was prompt and friendly. The space is small but it is cozy and charming. We had an altogether great experience.

Cafe Azafran never disappoints. The charcuterie board was generous and contained a nice variety of ingredients. The cap steak was prepared as requested and the presentation was very inviting and artistic. The short rib smash burger was moist and savory with fried onions and pickles and was topped with a delicious sauce. The truffle fries are obviously fresh cut and fried to a nice crispy finish. The cocktails were generous and well mixed.

my husband and I were at a table for two which was so closely placed to the table next to us that we were elbow to elbow and they were quite loud. In general the restaurant noise level was loud. I suspect bad acoustics. The value for steak night was excellent. But I ordered mine medium rare and got medium, and my husband ordered medium and got well done. We didn't send our steaks backs because it would have been uncomfortable and inconvenient for us, but we were disappointed in this regard.

Wonderful dinner at the bar with a friend on a quiet Wednesday evening. We have been eating at this restaurant for many years and it never disappoints. The tapas scallops, and the gnocchi were delicious.. And the seafood tarragona amazing. Great to chat with Evan our bartender as well. If you never been to this restaurant for dinner, definitely add it to your list. 💯

I have always liked this restaurant, and last night’s meal solidified that. We shared several tapas with an excellent Albariño. Highly recommend the shrimp, spaghetti squash (truly, one of the best dishes I’ve eaten) , and crab&artichoke croquettes. All were delicious. The S’mores lava cake finished off the meal very nicely. All Staff we met were nice, and our server was great.
