Cafe Azafran serves up an award-winning blend of Mediterranean and Spanish cuisine. Recently taking home the 2019 Top Chef of the Culinary Coast for the second year in a row was Café Azafran, their quality of food and freshness speaks for itself. Each dish from tapas to our large plates will leave you satisfied and looking forward to your next visit. Menu is subject to change at Chefs request! We have live entertainment every Thursday!!!!
Located on the ocean block of Baltimore Avenue, in downtown Rehoboth Beach, Cafe Azafran has a cozy dining area, with a spacious covered screened in back porch, in order to enjoy the ocean air while you eat fresh, delicious menu items.

We had been wanting to try Cafe Azafran after friends told us the food was really good. Sadly it was a disappointing experience. We made a reservation to celebrate a big birthday. We were seated at a tiny table at the very back of the restaurant- no ambiance for sure. The waitress did a nice job checking on us throughout the meal and the sangria was great. We should have stopped after the goat cheese tapas that we shared for an appetizer. That part was delicious. Our main entrees were pretty to look at, but tasteless. I had the vegan paella which supposedly had lots of veggies. It was primarily tomato coated rice that was gummy and flavorless. Our other entree was the encrusted halibut which also lacked flavor and seemed overcooked. I should have complained about the paella, but didn’t. My fault! Anyway, we won’t be going back. There are too many other much better restaurants in Rehoboth!

Food was delicious. I love that your menu changes. Always something new to try and great vegetable sides as well. Great server too.

Excellent food and wonderful service. Great place to enjoy a meal in a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Cafe Azafran is now one of our beach town favorites.

This was my third time there and it was a great dining experience. The food was excellent. We selected a variety including the charcuterie board which included diverse flavors, Chicken skewers over delectable rice, Seafood Tarragona and the beet salad. Everything tasted delicious. I highly recommend Cafe Azrafan and will be back again soon!

Absolutely wonderful! Delicious food for our very mixed pre-theatre group of nine. Great service, really a perfect experience.

Our server was awful! It was steak night, and the restaurant was out of steak. We waited an hour for our entrees. While waiting for our entrees, we were informed the restaurant ran out of mashed potatoes. It took 30 minutes for our server to bring our two glasses of wine. Another server had to tell our server that our entrees were sitting at the service window. My entree was cold and undercooked. I watched my wife and friend eat their dinners. The manager’s solution was to offer free dessert. This is after I had eaten no dinner. We just wanted to leave. We’ve been to Cafe Azafran many times. This was our last visit. Shame!

Outstanding service again from Evan! Steak night did not disappoint! Apps of green beans and the warm goat cheese spread were very delicious!
