Café at The Pfister features a casual full dining area available for breakfast and lunch, as well as a barista counter and patisserie in downtown Milwaukee. We proudly brew Starbucks® Coffee on the go and serve freshly baked-in-house pastries. Great experience. We love the setting food and always gives us a warm and cozy feeling! My husband always comments on the coffee. It is our special place to go when we want the best. We are never disappointed. If you want to celebrate this is the place to go!

Food very good. Coffee rich and strong. Service friendly, could have been a bit more attentive especially with the coffee. Overall a good value in a great setting.

I had a great experience. It was very important day as it was my birthday and I was treated very well. The food was very delicious and the service was exceptional.

One of our regular lunch spots. Free off street parking. Reasonable prices for hotel cafe. Open 7 days a week. Basic but good lunch menu. Always great service. Great for a quick bite or quiet lunch with the wife or colleague.

I want to commend the management for improving the service at the café. While I’ve always found the food excellent and the atmosphere outstanding, the service had diminished some in recent years. The crew today seems to be right on top of things and I commend Christian especially for his timely pacing of my meal and the on-duty hostess today. The Pfister Café remains my favorite lunch place in Milwaukee and has been for 50 years plus.

Service & seating was quick. Coffee came equally quick and menus. Ordering went well , however the hash browns were a minimal portion and cold, the ham/cheese omelet excellent, but the English muffin I asked to be well buttered was anything but!! Was also a bit surprised to hear the wait staff make a rather racist comment to a customer (as part of a conversation) that was easily overheard . In any case, the experience was definitely mixed, which is distinctly different from our prior experiences at the Cafe. I should also say my wife expressed that her food was ok.
