Cafe Amore has been serving great Mediterranean-inspired food since 1995. There's something for everyone at this popular local establishment. Pasta dishes, wood-fired pizza made with imported ingredients, paella, seafood, steaks, chicken dishes all served with a Mediterranean flare can be found here. Many items are house-made including all the sauces and dressings. There is a variety of large salads, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options to be enjoyed. A showcase filled with desserts is always a tempting end to any meal. Fully licensed with a complete bar menu and large wine list including local and imported selections. The decor is warm and inviting with fireplaces, stone walls, booth seating.

    Great food and atmosphere We felt rushed, in that we had just started out salads and the entrees appeared The server seemed to rush us also This was a repeat visit so we will try again and hopefully have better luck

    One of the greatest places to eat in St. Catharines and our server was so so so cute and sweet.

    My husband and I ordered pasta and it was amazing as usual. However the bruschetta, house salad with balsamic dressing and Cesar salad were not appetizing. They all had a very tart flavour it was as if the olive oil was not included in the dressings and marinated tomatoes. I would recommend the pastas but not the salads. The service was very good.

    Poseidon’s pasta, arrabiata (spicy) sauce, shrimp Alfredo, carne (spicy) pizza all excellent and more than sufficient. Starter Caesar salad with garlic cheese bread also good. Wine selection includes some very good local offerings, like Featherstone Cabernet Franc. Staff are friendly and efficient with good timing! And then there’s the dessert cabinet. A longtime favourite for our family.
