The LP is our monthly vinyl-led deep dive into an artist of selection at Cafe 1001, where we play out their entire discography, or as much of it as we can pack into five hours, on our beautiful hi-fi system. Which better artist to kick off March, than Ryuichi Sakamoto? One of the most prolific and groundbreaking artists of all time, his sound moved over the years from electro and hip hop to classical and ambient; truly no limit to the scope of his sound, or his generational influence. We will be diving into his wonderful world of sounds on March 27th, for five hours of vinyl explorations. Pair that with a couple of our signature cocktails and dare we say it, that's the perfect night.

Nick the Record is a world-renowned selector, record dealer, and digger with an unmatched ear for deep, soulful, and rare grooves. With decades of experience digging and spinning under his belt, Nick seamlessly weaves through disco, house, and eclectic cuts in a way that few can match. Nick joins us this month for a late night, all night long affair. Six hours of vinyl led magic in our intimate loft space. We will be going until 2am for this one, DJs starting at 7pm. Come and celebrate Record Store Day 2025 in our immersive hi-fi loft space, with vinyl-led DJs playing from 2pm-late. As is our yearly tradition, we will have DJs from early until close, so after you've spent your allowance on records and had your fill, come and celebrate records in all their glory at 1001. Over the years we've had artists from Patrick Forge to Lupini play on this lovely day, and this year is no different. We've got a stacked line up running all day with Bevan, Saige Sounds, Sam Don, and a very special guest. Brunch service will run alongside our curated daytime lineup, followed by cocktails, hi-i beats and dancing. Come through <3
