Perched atop the Hoxton Hotel in the heart of Chicago’s Fulton Market, Cabra Chicago is a lively rooftop escape, inspired by the bold and vibrant flavors of Peruvian cuisine. Led by James Beard Award and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard, alongside longtime partners Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm of Boka Restaurant Group, Cabra serves up crave-worthy dishes in a colorful and energetic setting. The food is excellent and exceeded my expectations. Ambiance was great and views were incredible. Service was excellent too. I will definitely be back!

Worst customer service. I went in with my friend who has an allergy. We explained the allergy multiple times but they still served us contaminated food. Her entire face, feet, and arms started swelling. The waiter was rude when we asked if any of the dishes had her allergy— he said, we don’t even have that on site. Manager comes over and confirms almost all our dishes are not allergy free— but he blames it on the new chef. He tries make it right by bringing out some other dishes that avoid her allergy. He brings out TWO sides for us to eat for dinner (peppers and fries). That is not dinner. It was an absolute mess— use to be my favorite spot in Chicago, but after they made the error— then didn’t even sincerely try to fix it— I won’t go back.

This was our second time having brunch at Cabra and they did not disappoint. The food and ambiance was great. The drag show was amazing and very entertaining. I highly recommend the restaurant.

The Girl and the Goat and Cabra are two of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. Cabra last Friday was a perfect dining experience. The food and service were a 10/10. Thank you for staying consistent, your food is a delicious today as it was the first time that I dined there years ago. I love introducing friends to your restaurants.

Service was slow and by the time our order was taken, the dish we wanted was 86ed. It would have been nice to know before waiting 20 minutes to take our order. The table they sat us at was on the patio and VERY cold. Also, show was falling on us. The food, however, was delicious.

This is the fourth time we I have come to Cara in the past 12 months. The quality of the food has dropped significantly. Something has changed with either the.l chef, the method of preparation or the care they are taking to prepare the food. Not as tasty as it was and not as fresh as it was in previous visits.

The food here is amazing!! We order the avocado dip, chorizo queso dip, salchipapas, goat empanadas, salmon ceviche, and steak saltado! Everything was delicious, food exceeded expectations. The ambience and service was great! I felt transported to somewhere warm and out of wintery chicago.
