    For Valentine's Day, we are offering a lovers-themed 3-course menu at $99.95/person. With seafood and steak options, the menu finishes with a shared dessert to help you cozy up to your valentine. Due to the holiday, this will be the only menu we offer that night, all tables will have a 2-hour dining time, and there is no weather backup for outdoor reservations.     Everything about our lunch was great. The food was delicious, as was the ambiance on the patio. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The Oriental chicken salad and the tuna melt were more than generous portions. I recommend C-Level as an excellent luncheon destination in San Diego.

    I had the warm spinach salad with grilled shrimp. There were 5 grilled shrimp which were tasty but the salad had wayyyy too much spinach and arugula and little of anything else. I won't order a $28 salad where there is sooo much greens. I ate the "good" stuff and there was till a mountain of greens left. My husband had the Louie salad. Same thing - way too much greens. The service was very nice and attentive and of course, the view was very nice.

    I've been a fan of Deborah Scott's since the early days of Kemo Sabe in Hillcrest, and my wife and I have eaten multiple times at many of the Cohn Group Restaurants, including several times at C-Level. On January 3, 2025 we took a party of 6 visiting family members to C-Level for lunch. For apps, we ordered 2 bowls and 2 cups of lobster bisque. After a while, 4 cups were delivered. We informed the staffer who brought them (not Girardo, our waiter) of the mistake and he took 2 of the cups back to the kitchen. We waited quite a while for the 2 replacement bowls, and by the time they arrived the bisque was tepid. Temperature also was a problem with my wife's coconut shrimp, which were barely warm, accompanied by dipping sauce that actually was cold, as if it had just been taken out of a refrigerator. My niece ordered the Parmesan Chicken Piccata, a smallish piece of chicken resting atop a huge mound of mashed potatoes that recalled a famous scene in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". When I asked her how her meal was, she said, “It’s different than any Chicken Piccata I’ve ever had — not very ‘lemony’.” I’m happy to report that two dishes got high marks. My Ahi Tuna and Salmon Poke was delicious and satisfying, and my nephew loved his Wedge Salad with Shrimp. So there were high points, but the miscues were surprising for a place that’s been popular and busy for so long. Combined with the dreadful and overpriced meals we'd been served when we took another family group to Blue Point Coastal Cuisine, my wife and I came away wondering if the quality of the food and service at Cohn Group restaurants are not as good as they once were. Unfortunately, the “fun” continued when my wife was up half the night with what I’ll discreetly describe as a “reaction” to her C-Level meal — a first in more than 20 years of dining at Cohn/Scott establishments. Yikes.

    Avery was amazing! She was super patient with my Mom’s high maintenance drink order and took excellent care of us throughout the whole dining experience.
