Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients.

This may possibly have been the best dining experience I ever had. The valet was phenomenal the hostess was perfect and the waiter was attentive. The chef did a wonderful job preparing our swordfish, the oysters were delicious and the drinks were great. Highly recommend this anyone!

Our server, Gias, was welcoming, attentive to our dietary restrictions, knowledgeable about the menu and pairing options. It was all executed perfectly and we will not hesitate to return.

We go for the oyster special which is a great deal and the oysters are always sensational. Also had caesar salad (wonderful) and a NY Strip which was excellent. Service was very good. Thank you,

Need more than one valet. Our server,Ershell, was fabulous ,as was Matt. Ershell remembered were we sat and what we ordered on a previous visit. Incredible!

Don’t know what it is about this location, but every time I’ve been ( four and last), just not up to par like the one in Cobb. Drinks are great, if you are looking for drinks and just appetizers, this is an awesome spot. Entree wise it’s just average. Fish was overcooked, the salad was drowned in dressing. Service was attentive and drinks refilled on time. We just had a side we ordered that got missed by our waiter. It’s not bad, but certainly not worthy for the price.
