Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

    Came in today for happy hour and was greeted by the two managers. We were seated promptly and got straight to ordering! Cooper provided very good service and the chargrilled oysters were amazing. 5/5 experience.

    We had an incredible experience at C&S, thanks to Rachel, our amazing bartender! It was my boyfriend’s first time here, and he’s usually pretty picky, but he was beyond impressed. The oysters were absolutely delicious, and the drinks were spot-on. Rachel’s customer service was top-tier—she really made our night! It’s hard to find places in Atlanta that offer both great food and service, but C&S did just that. Highly recommend!

    Always enjoy Brookhaven location. Have been out of town for a while and came in to enjoy happy hour. Oysters still amazing! & Rachel still makes the best drinks. Always enjoy her company and customer service. Louis was working as well. Got lucky today they my fav bartenders at this location. Make sure you ask for them! And don’t forget to hit their happy hour for the chargrilleds!! And ask Rahel to make you her famous espresso martini you won’t be disappointed!!!!! Thank you Louis and Rachel!!

    I always enjoy my visits to C&S — consistent quality and great service every time. Our server (Rachel) had a lot of good food + drink recommendations and was very attentive to our needs while dining at bar. Tried their Nashville Hot fish sandwich for lunch this go-round and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend this location.

    Once again C and S has exceeded my expectations! Dayvion was amazing as always and put me on to some amazing dishes this afternoon. Everybody get Dayvion as your server you will not be disappointed! Will definitely be back!

    The server was great and attentive. But the layout of the dinning room was off.. something about the flow maybe the table placement. The food was just ok. Shell pieces in the oysters. Fish was good but steak needed seasoning. The whipped butter tasted like cheap syrup. Brussels and smashed potatoes were good. It’s close, but I’m not in hurry to return.

    Our waiter was wonderful. Service as well. Food delicious. My first time there and I will refinishing go back. Prices a bit steep, but normal for 2024.

    Amazing night at C&S Brookhaven. It was our grandsons 13th birthday dinner. Fatima was so sweet and wished him a happy birthday when we arrived. Tommy, our server could not have been nicer. Gage the general manager stopped by to wish him a happy birthday. He was thrilled with all the special attention he got! Our steaks and sides were perfection and my husbands Chilean sea bass was delicious. If you are looking for a delicious crab cake , this is the place to go ! Thanks so much Gage for making my grandsons birthday a special night.
