Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

Great time. Excellent service. The chargrilled oysters were delicious and cooked perfectly, Bronzino was good with the blackened seasoning otherwise it was a little bland. The lobster bites were ok. Clam chowder and lobster Cobb salad never disappoint. Will definitely return, always a go to restaurant for a good meal!

Really enjoyable evening at C&S. A small hiccup with our order that was minor but staff went out of there way to make it a special evening. Waiter Theodore was awesome and catered to the 89 year old birthday girls. Manager was great and the whole evening delightful. Food was delicious. Will definitely return.

C&S is our goto for an always delicious meal with excellent service. The attention and care is consistent, I’ve dined at this restaurant many times and never had a single issue. Happy Hour until 6pm is a nice perk too! But we always eat on the early side. Thank you guys for being SO GOOD!!

Only downer to the otherwise fantastic birthday dinner at experience, was the marihuana smell right as you approach the front door.

We enjoyed our server Cecelia tremendously. She was knowledgeable, fun and attentive. Our food was delicious. The desert menu was perfect and had something for everyone.

Meal was delicious but the service was outstanding, best we’ve ever had in Atlanta after 20+ years. Theo was so attentive and sweet with our in-laws and they made our celebration of a 50th anniversary really special. We’ve already told the story to multiple neighbors who plan to go check out this Brookhaven location! Far exceeded our expectations.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal - oysters, Caesar salad, crab cake and sea bass. Our waiter Tommy was super friendly and efficient. We always have a great time at C & S

My favorite go to place when I’m craving a quick good meal. Rachel is my favorite bartender out of all the locations I always come to Brookhaven for her! She makes the absolute best espresso martinis!!! Always super attentive and making sure I have the best experience every time! Chargrilled oysters are always amazing.
