Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at C & S Oyster thanks to our server, Tommy! From the moment we sat down, his warm welcome set the tone for the evening. Tommy’s extensive knowledge of the menu was impressive; he guided us through the oysters, recommending a perfect selection that blew our minds. His attention to detail and genuine passion for the food made the whole experience unforgettable. Not only was he prompt and attentive, but he also made sure we were having a great time, checking in without being intrusive. Tommy's upbeat personality added to the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, request Tommy—he truly elevates the whole experience! Can’t wait to return!

Stepping into this restaurant I was immediately impressed. It smelled amazing and the hostess was polite and prompt. Server was attentive and fun she really made the experience. She checked up on us but gave us space to enjoy our courses. So many combinations you could do with the market selection of fish! I got broiled branzino and husband got blackened swordfish. Both were distinct and delicious. Raw oysters selection was good and I was glad they had my favourite, the mama mia. Overall a 10 of 10 .

We have dined at C & S restaurants for years and overall have enjoyed the experience. Our second visit to the new Brookhaven location this past weekend was much better than our initial visit six months ago. The overall guest experiences improved dramatically from their opening as the level of hospitality starting with the hostess check-in process, the wait staff experience as well as several check ins by management made for an enjoyable evening. Given these improvements, we will no longer go out of our way to avoid the Brookhaven location and plan to dine there again in the near future.

Our experience was great! We visited C&S Seafood for our anniversary and my wife's birthday and it was an awesome experience. Our server was excellent (Cecilia I think?) and the food was top-notch. We will be back. Highly recommend.

Great time. Excellent service. The chargrilled oysters were delicious and cooked perfectly, Bronzino was good with the blackened seasoning otherwise it was a little bland. The lobster bites were ok. Clam chowder and lobster Cobb salad never disappoint. Will definitely return, always a go to restaurant for a good meal!
