Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

As always the food was exceptional. My family has been chargrilled oyster lovers for a long time and C & S never disappoints. Dayvion shared his love and knowledge of great food/wine and provided excellent service to our group.

Food was good. Not my best experience there. Really think they should have non pork options in this day and age. Several dishes I would have love to try but premade dishes did not allow. At the prices they are asking, chef should be able to accommodate. Our server was delightful. I have taken people there several times, but I will be trying other places in the neighborhood. These days a name is just not enough for a 250 dollar dinner. I give the a c plus.

The experience was phenomenal. Our server, Dayvion, was very attentive and friendly. He made suggestions and made sure our overall dining experience was amazing. The oysters are 10/10!! The French toast was a hit!! I will definitely be back!

The mushrooms I was served were disgusting. I’ve gotten them before and have always liked them but today they were terrible.

I had the best time at C&S yesterday …. Every time I come in Alex is always so kind and personable and helpful with my weird OCD and anxiety he always accommodates me no matter the issue…. Then there is Mo my favorite server … he’s always on point with my orders no matter how particular and has this dope energy that engages and makes me laugh and he keeps my drinks flowing 🤣💜…. When you visit please ask for either of them and you WILL NOT be disappointed…. You’ll also have a great time!!!💃🏿💜🤞🏿🥰💜

My wife and I were very well taken care of by the staff. We wanted to do a gender reveal and Zan, the executive chef, made sure it was an amazing experience. We felt like VIPs the whole night. Also, they have an amazing happy hour deal - a dozen oysters for $22. Highly recommend the king crab and oysters!

Excellent food and service from Kaylin. The manager, Gage, had the operation well under control. Mo walking by and checking on us is always nice. We enjoyed the spring rolls, broiled oysters, lobster salad, seafood gumbo, and fried shrimp. Always a good experience at C&S Seafood.
