Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.

The following are not allowed: Beach flip flops, slides tank tops for men undershirt type t-shirts sweat pants and jogging pants athletic shorts clothing with inappropriate graphics clothing that is overly exposing midriff tops shorts that are too short.

Had a great time tonight at C & S. Our server Cecelia was very lovely, attentive and made great recommendations. The Chargrills were A-MA-ZING!! Highly recommend this place!

C&S….. the go to place for any occasion, especially your birthday! Chopped salad with grill salmon with creamy dill dressing was delicious! The pumpkin cheese cake was a special birthday treat! Shout out to my fellow Scorpio and favorite waiter, Mo! He brings such great energy and fun to your dining experience! And thank you to Gage as always…. Another fellow Scorpio! No wonder I love this place! Happy Birthday to you both!!!

Pricey- ambience turns to loud cell phone usage with no mics in main dining area. Typical new Buckhead clientele. Bar and outdoor patio are only reprieve. Service is great. Food is Wonderful, but cocktails and food is over priced.

Food was delicious, and the restaurant is beautiful. We loved the sweet potato cheesecake. One of our family members got the red snapper special which was to die for. My salmon arugula salad was fabulous. Our waiter, Dayvion, was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. He recommended the perfect Chardonnay for me!

I recently had the pleasure of dining here at their Brookhaven location, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. I ordered the chargrilled oysters, which were perfectly prepared – smoky, tender, and brimming with rich, savory flavors. Each bite was a testament to the quality and expertise of the kitchen. The service was equally impressive. My server, Elijah, was attentive and knowledgeable, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. His warm demeanor and professionalism added to the welcoming atmosphere. To top it off, the manager made a point to stop by my table to check in, which made me feel valued and appreciated as a guest. I look forward to returning and highly recommend this gem to anyone who appreciates high-quality seafood and top-tier service.

Love the food , atmosphere,and always great service. Yesterday Eli was our server and was very professional and friendly. The parking is the only concern. It’s limited and yesterday two police cars occupied limited space availability in front of the entrance.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience with this restaurant…they are supposed to be a seafood place and were out of three different fish choices we attempted to make in a 5:30PM reservation. Also missing a wine choice we made. I’ll give them an A for effort in trying to make it right but something was fundamentally wrong to be out of fish main menu, chef specialty fish selection for a higher end seafood restaurant.
