Dinner is served in our mezzanine, bistro and upstairs dining rooms, Tuesday through Saturday.
Reservations are for dinner only, please. Bar seats operate on a first come, first serve basis, and cannot be reserved.
We cannot accommodate parties larger than 10. Due to the layout of our restaurant, we are unable to accommodate pets on our patio.

I thought my entree (lamb) was delicious and well prepared. The bib salad was basic. I found the leaves were too big and not proportioned well which left it hard to eat, too much cheese but the vinaigrette was delicious. The warm bread and salted butter was the best part and was a 10/10. The cocktail was too strong to enjoy and the ice tea had a strange taste as if it was sitting in old tea bags. Overall it was a good experience however I think it is overpriced and would not go back again.

Truly enjoyed this experience! Lovely service, beautiful space, unique and delicious food. I ordered the gnocchi duck confit and highly recommend this dish. A wonderful blend of flavors made to perfection. Complete with a glass of Rose and finished with creme brulee. Thank you, Chef!

I try as good to C&O every time I’m in Charlottesville. Phenomenal food, drinks, and surroundings.

The food, as always, was wonderful! The service left a lot to be desired. First our server dropped a bread plate when she brought the bread. The butter fell on one of our guest's shoes. She laughed it off, but when we got home we found flecks of butter all over her silk dress and my black pants. Not good. It was an accident, but.... After dinner two of us ordered coffee. When I took a sip it was cold. I think it was the coffee from a previous shift (it wasn't just lukewarm, it was actually cold). I don't know how someone could have poured it, carried the cold cups, and not noticed that the coffee was old. Worst: We were charged for everything. Even the coffee! I think C&O could/should do better.

Another superior meal at C&O. Clearly the best restaurant in Charlottesville but also one of the best we’ve ever dined at anywhere. The chef is so creative and the staff so attentive. Great combination. When everyone wants to share their meals because they feel “you must try it because it’s so good” then you have succeeded. Bibb salad and tomato salad top notch. The duck confit, steak chinois and lamb in pastry dough were superb. To top it off they had 7 dessert options. What a food experience.

From the beautiful unique interior, to the amazing attentive service to the gorgeously presented food that tastes just as it was plated. Our experience was perfect.

The all the food was outstanding. For a little restaurant it was very beautiful inside. The service was really good and the desserts were incredible.
