I was not wow'd by any dish. The scallops were great, other than that it was noisey and expensive for the experience.

I had a wonderful experience dining here last night. My wife and I had wanted to try Byrdies for some time because we both love French cuisine. We were a bit hesitant to visit on Valentine’s Day weekend because a lot of restaurants will limit their menu in order to have higher turnover but it couldn’t be further from the case here. We got to experience the restaurant fully and the menu was the same as any night, in fact, I’m curious if they worked extra hard to make our date night feel extra special or if service is just that excellent every night. Zach was our server and he was very attentive to our needs throughout the dining experience. He had a deep knowledge of the menu and some interesting suggestions that we would not have ordered on our own but we are glad we trusted him. The pot du jour was one of those. The list of ingredients seemed odd and unappealing but after ordering it everything fit together perfectly and it stood out as one of the highlights of our experience. Another standout were the scallops and the escargot. The cornbread was somewhere between a southern cornbread and a Yorkshire pudding. Very interesting and very delicious. Overall the food was beyond excellent but what stood out the most was how attentive every member of the staff was in the front of the house. Everyone from the people running food to the manager in her stylish pantsuit seemed like they were performing at the top of their game and made me feel welcomed and taken care of.

so mid. scallops were good at least. rest of menu overpriced for the quality.

El lugar es acogedor,algo diferente,no puedo hablar muy bien del servicio porque se equivocaron varias veces con nuestro pedido,aunque nos recompensaron y se disculparon.los tragos y la comida con exelente presencia y sabor.

My significant other and I had a fantastic experience at Byrdie’s for Valentine’s Day! Their three-course menu for the evening was stellar and our server Zach was very knowledgeable about the items. The Scallops St. Jacques were absolutely out of this world, and my partner loves his steak frites entree. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning!

We had the valentines set menu, which was good and we both enjoyed our selections. Service was good, ambience was good. Price was ok. Based on other reviews I was expecting more, but good is ok. Say no more…

Scallops were next level Lyonnaise salad and onion soup were really well executed. The entrees were good Service was excellent. Wish the space felt a little more intimate

Service and the Food were excellent. Definitely a good addition to the Louisville Food Scene which is already excellent. Cocktails were well made and presented. Several of us had the Foie Gras, it is to die for. Melt in your mouth. Entrees were Steak Frites. Steak was a Sirloin instead of the usual restaurant cut which has no flavor. This was excellent cooked to perfection. One had the special beef which was nicely presented and he said it was excellent; would share it with others!!! I had the tornedos, well prepared and topped with the "to die for" foie Gras. We enjoyed the evening and will be back.

Great food and wonderful experience overall. Short ribs prepared as a Pithvier was memorable and our table’s must try recommendation. Gabby is an excellent server!
