    This was a birthday celebration and what a great place for a birthday dinner. Beautiful restaurant in a unique hotel in NuLu. Very good service and the food was great.

    Just awful. Thankfully a good bottle of Cava. Certainly did not feel, look, or taste like a Michelin star chef was in charge. Really disappointed.

    Only open a few weeks Byrdies was very good. It has potential to be excellent. A bit more training for staff & attention to detail is needed. Menu options are terrific, need to be available. We look forward to experiencing again.

    The service was excellent. The French onion soup, celery root soup, house salad, salmon, and steak frites were all excellent. The turbot filet, on the other hand, left a lot to be desired — it had many bones and tasted fishy. The latter was unfortunate because otherwise, we had a great experience.

    Very disappointing experience. Sat late for our reservation, no big deal. After 45 minutes being in the restaurant and still no drinks, not great. Our server was sweet and knowledgeable, water glasses were kept full. As far as the food, it was mostly underwhelming. The sunchoke agnolotti was the most tasty item we were served. The fois gras torchon was served with barely warm rolls and under poached pears. The pithivier was undercooked short rib wrapped in burnt pastry. And to their credit it was removed from our bill. Off nights happen.

    Overall, it was ok. Portions are small. The deviled eggs are hard-boiled eggs full of onions-this was disappointing. The staff and service are great and did what they could to improve our experience. My husband didn't care for the 48-hour short rib, which was recommended. I loved the turbot steak. I just wish the size was bigger. The scallops appetizer was good-they were slightly chewy and could have been more tender. The chocolate dessert is delicious. We walked down to Mayan Cafe to get a second dinner because we were still hungry.

    Everything on the menu we tried was phenomenal. The drink menu was not overwhelming like some other venues nearby, and we tried several of the options. The food was outstanding. Our waitress gave us the option of having salad with dinner and it added flavor and texture to the experience. The deviled eggs and the American Wagyu were our favorite items of the evening. The wine we ordered took a little longer to be delivered than expected, but they comped us dessert. The Apple Tartine was the perfect.

    Food was good but not perfect. Turbot was a little salty, endive was bland and floppy. Scallops, foie gras, chicken and dessert were great. Kind of loud. Seems like it wants to be a little higher scale but if so, don’t let people wear ball caps. Or don’t recommend business casual as your dress. Price wasn’t bad at all. Worth it and would go again

    Great girls night dinner. We ordered several apps/small plates and everything was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

    First week to be open and needs some fine tuning. Service was very slow. Food was good. Some effort to decrease background noise would be helpful
