This was our first time at this restaurant, and the staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions and recommendations. The food was excellent.

We've been going to Byblos since it first opened in Toronto and every single time we've had a wonderful experience. We will continue to come back, no doubt.

Food was good, but service was horrible. First off, waitress pressured us to order quickly & said the kitchen closed at 9pm, a whole 2 hours before their closing time of 11pm. Secondly, waitress kept asking “are you still working on this” every 10-15 minutes and by 10:15pm, asked us if we want to pack the food to go & brought the check. We asked if they close at 10 or 11 (11 is what is advertised on their site) and she just rudely said “well we’re basically closed”. Horrible experience.

Good service and good food. But there is a serious issue with parking. My car was broken into while dining, although it was parked right in front of the restaurant.

The food here is absolutely outstanding & I do not say that lightly. The atmosphere is very cozy, open & spacious. The prices are high but it’s a special occasion place where I don’t mind splurging every once in a while. 100% delicious, every time.

It was such a treat having our son's 16th birthday dinner at the Byblos' Uptown location. The service was impeccable. We ordered quite a few starters, from the hummus, dumplings, short ribs, shrimp, racchio salad-- all beautifully plated and presented to our table at the same time. The lamb shoulder is the best lamb we've had ever! The other mains were packed with flavour, seasoned perfectly and each dish had balance of flavors and textures. I was taken back by the service when she asked they could add a serving (eg 5 shrimp for a table of 5 and carved the chicken in 5 portions). The attention to small details made the evening even more memorable!

Loved the food! Their Pide’s are to die for. Our server was also very nice and helpful & knew the menu really well. Would absolutely go back!

We celebrated a birthday with perfect food enjoying a wide selection of starters, then shared 3 main courses between 5 of us. The lamb ribs, octopus and eggplant were favourites, yet all delicious .The staff was excellant and generous. A perfect meal.
