Le Chef Stuart Cameron (Weslodge et Patria), a créé des plats qui mettent en valeur les épices et les saveurs du littoral Méditerranéen oriental. A hidden gem. Every dish had a sophistication of flavor and texture that was outstanding. This was the best restaurant meal I’ve eaten in years. And there was a lovely selection of wine to match with the food.

We had a reservation & went to celebrate a special occasion. Hostess refused to gave us a table upstairs, saying all the tables are blocked & we had no choice. After speaking to someone else we finally got a table up. After going upstairs we noticed 5 tables were empty & remained empty for almost half the time till we left. We did discuss the situation with the manager. Our first walk in experience with the hostess put a damper on our evening. Not the welcome we expected walking in. Serving staff was very good, food was excellent.

I went as a group of four to Byblos Downtown on a Saturday night and had a great time. We loved all of our dishes which included the lamb ribs (my fave), wagyu pide, crispy shrimp, roasted cauliflower, etc. We selected the Chenin Blanc white wine at 85$, reasonable and very good. While noisy (so we ended up shouting to each other) the atmosphere is very fun. Great night all round.

The food was outstanding. The staff was very accommodating. One of our party was gluten and dairy free, and they were no problems finding plenty to eat there It was definitely warm in the restaurant. It’s in building, I should invest in some indoor air conditioning.

Always enjoy coming to Byblos. The food and drinks were delicious. First time trying the lamb shoulder and it was incredible. Our friends are still talking about the stuffed olives two days later!

Food was okay but over priced for what was provided. Lamb was good dish but the roasted Califlower was very dry and overdone. Hummas was average. Waiter was very attentive - that we best part of the experience. Sat on second floor which was much better than first but still was average ambience.

Had to wait for over 45minutes to get our drinks, which were pretty watery by the time we got them. Pretty disappointing when you are paying $20/drink. Our food arrived 5minutes after the drinks so there were no time to enjoy it. The waitress was slammed with all the tables and so wasn’t there much to serve us. The food is good, the ambiance is good, but disappointed with the service and the overall experience.

What a great evening after our show at the Princess of Wales Theatre! Dinner was absolutely delicious!! We had heard it was good, but happy it was “fabulous”!!
