Food was good. Restaurant was very pretty. Service was some of the worst I’ve had. Good food is not worth $300 for two people if the service is bad. Would rather had mediocre food and great service.

By George is a nice and bright restaurant with a nice decor. Upon being seated, my girlfriends and I asked to be moved, as we wanted a little bit more privacy (we were gathering to catch up on life). Our request was immediately granted and we were sat at a nice table that was more suitable for the occasion. Our server Rodney was friendly and helpful with suggestions and was engaging. For breakfast, I ordered The Candler, The Candler Salad and an English Muffin. It was all good. My girlfriends ordered the French Toast and they both enjoyed it. One friend also ordered a cappuccino and she said it was really good. Overall, a really nice time and I would definitely dine here again.

A great birthday experience. Scallops were great. Truffle fries are a great starter while you’re deciding on your culinary journey. Rigatoni, Salmon and Risotto also great!

We loved the atmosphere AND the food. Our desserts were excellent (flourless chocolate cake, espresso tres leches, creme brulee) as were our meals.

I've dined at By George numerous times for business lunches and happy hour, and those experiences have always been enjoyable. However, this was my first time having dinner there, and I must admit, it left much to be desired. Typically, the service is prompt, and the food is consistently delicious. Unfortunately, this time was quite the opposite. Despite being seated promptly, the rest of the evening was marked by delays and disappointment. I didn't keep track of the exact timing, but the wait was noticeably long—far longer than what one would expect for a restaurant of this caliber. I started with a salad featuring Brussels sprouts and cauliflower as an appetizer. This dish took about 20 minutes to arrive, which felt excessive. For my main course, I chose the fried lobster. While the exterior was nicely fried, the inside was disappointingly doughy, making it difficult to enjoy. After waiting at least another 20 minutes for the main course, I was so hungry that I ate it despite its poor quality. Overall, the experience was frustrating and not at all what I've come to expect from By George.
