Serving ocean food platters in the scenic bay views of Tranquility Bay, Butterfly Café is a full service restaurant ladling seafood dinners to the lodgers and visiting gourmets.
Customers can dine in the upscale elegant indoors furnished with wicker seats and grommet curtains or relax in the outdoor patio at Butterfly Cafe.

Important note: To guarantee outdoor dining with us please select "Outdoor" Seating at booking. Standard seating is indoors.

Our server, Gabby was the highlight of our evening! She was absolutely brilliant! She was so friendly, attentive and kind! Just something small but didn't bother us because everything else was perfect - I ordered my cesear salad dressing to come on the side and it was mixed in, my husband didn't get his asparagus with his steak meal (which was cooked to perfection and so tender!) but didn't feel like sending his food back because he was hungry and didn't want to wait, so we didn't complain. The dessert was to die for!!!! Everything was perfect except for those minor details which did not affect our overall experience. Prices on the higher side but quality of food, ambience, service is what you're paying for and it is worth it! And we all absolutely LOVED the soft background music playing, even our two teenagers loved the music!

Just a beautiful experience! The food was amazing and so was the staff! Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant to celebrate anything special or just to come in a for dinner.

I wish I could say I loved it. First time there and I’m a local resident. Shrimp app was served with shell still on the shrimp in places. The main course salad was served without dressing. Had to ask for it. No salt and pepper on the table or any table for that matter. Might have been an off night for the staff but it was my first impression. $140 for 3 apps, 2 salads and 1 cocktail. Seems excessive when the presentation and details are missing.

Thanksgiving special dinner. The food level was excellent, turkey, stuffings, regular and sweet potato mashed, yellowtail entrée, shrimps, oysters, butternut squash soup great deserts and most importantly, all tasted homemade like your aunt that really knows how to cook. Congrats.

We’ve dined at butterfly cafe for a few Thanksgiving and had amazing Thanksgiving dinners! This time, unfortunately, was the worst and our last time . Not sure if it’s due to the new buffet format (in the past it was waiter service with a limited menu) but the food was bland, tasteless , and lacked quality (beans under cooked, sweet potatoes lacked flavor). The desserts were clearly not made there and key lime pie as grainy and other pies just full of sugar. On the other side, the waiter was amazing and the outside seating was peaceful and nice decorated which is why we’ve come back year over year. We will dine elsewhere next year as the food was NOT worth the $100 pp plus mandatory 20% service tip for a family of four.

The price for the thanksgiving buffet was extremely high for a very limited selection. What there was on the hot side was very good. The salad side seemed forgotten about. Our server was very nice but left dirty dishes on our table. He would refill drinks and not bus the table at all. I’d eat there again but not for a buffet.

Jasmine was our server and was delightful. The meal started with their fresh breads—the Asiago bread is to die for, along with a perfectly complementary, light, whipped, divine butter. The seasonal cocktails were fantastic! I am rarely enamored with fish dishes, but my wife had the hogfish, which was superb, and my Mahi Mahi was excellent as well. Wines are reasonably priced and are focused on pairing well with the meals. A lovely creme brûlée, along with an espresso martini, finished off an excellent evening and meal! Cheers!
