I booked a table for four originally, but it was no problem in changing the guest number to five. On my advice from a previous tasting, I suggested my companions try the onion soup! It was as good as usual! Absolutely delicious! Our main meals ordered were their excellent shepherds pie, and the chicken schnitzel! Both were excellent! Our desserts were very tasty too! Their “mini dessert with coffee” is highly recommended! I would also like to comment on the truly excellent above and beyond service. Our waitress was perfectly happy to deal with all our extra requests with a smile! Plenty of parking room too! If you are thinking of booking a table at Theb/butt Inn - you certainly won’t be disappointed.

This was a very memorable lunch for myself and 3 friends. There was a good choice of meals and the food was hot and very tasty. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience with my friends giving it a 10 out of 10. We will be going back.

First time here, despite living only 15 minutes away for the last 65 years!! Booked an early slot for Sunday lunch as I did not know how busy it would get. Quiet when we arrived, but soon got busier. No complaints whatsoever. Customer service was great, food was excellent (1 rolled pork and 1 chicken roast dinner, followed by the crumble and a PROPER sticky toffee pudding and coffees), and the atmosphere and the decor of the place was really pleasant. The overall cost was also very reasonable. A really enjoyable Sunday lunch.

4 delicious meals were served piping hot in roughly 20 mins. We enjoyed home made pies, chicken schnitzel and garlic mushrooms with poached egg.

We were first night on Canal Boat trip with some friends from USA. Food was excellent along with the service. So good we have booked upon our return! Thank you
