My parents come here often so I was looking forward to this. I had the special of chicken Caesar salad and I’m sad to say there was nothing special about it. Sauce was shop bought chicken dry leaves were nice and crunchy croutons tasted stale. Not worth £16.50 and no anchovies! Both my parents meals looked lovely and they enjoyed it so I will come again but will avoid the Caesar salad! Place is lovely staff are lovely only marked down of food and value because of Caesar salad.

We have very nice meal with friends, to celebrate two birthdays during midweek. Very nice reception and meal. Dinning room setting very nice.

Very good evening with friends at the Butt Inn, the staff were great and the food was excellent. Menu options and drinks were very good also

I went for a meal at the Butt Inn with my friend and we both really enjoyed our food it was piping hot and very delicious. I had the chicken burger and she had the chicken schnitzel. We also ordered a pudding and again was really nice. I love the apple & Blackberry crumble. I think the layout of the restaurant is alot better now I went quite a few years back so its quite different now. Staff was really good as well so we were happy with the service too. Will have to come along again!

It is quite a while since I enjoyed such an outstanding meal. Being very hungry, I enjoyed Nibbles, a starter, main course and dessert. To start, I enjoyed the Pork bites which were tender yet crisp, while the crispy beef salad starter was exactly to my taste. The main course of trout was beautifully cooked, and was accompanied by sauteed potatos and tenderstem broccoli which was cooked to perfection. To round the meal off, I settled for the apple and raspberry crumble, and following the previous courses it did not disappoint, and was accompanied by a generous portion of smooth custard.. Known for my appetite all the courses were generously portioned, and I came away totally satisfied, yet surprisingly I was not uncomfortable - just full and satisfied. Finally, there were so many items on the menu that apppealed to my taste, I definitely want to go back for more.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating with adapting some menu choices. Food was lovely and bill really reasonable. Would definitely visit again.
