Butera’s Restaurant of Bay Shore is the newest addition to the Butera Restaurant Group. Owners Gary Butera, Martin &Laurie Butera, Nick Zografos & David Novak have provided cool green & white panels, brick, subway tile, marble and original artwork. The decor adds a sleek industrial edge to compliment the tone in the casual, comfortable dining room & spacious bar. Garage doors bring the “outside” in to add to the open, airy industrial look.
The Butera’s kitchen, since it’s inception in Massapequa 1991 to present day Bay Shore , has and still does offer traditional rustic Italian cuisine with a modern flair alongside unique specials showcasing authentic ingredients and locally sourced products.
The Butera’s family relishes the opportunity to begin a new chapter in Bay Shore, and wants nothing more than to serve and delight the community for years to come.

Great experience. Well paced. Good was amazing as always. The pork chop never disappoints. Chicken meatball pot was great. Fried mozzarella was good also. Price is a touch high but reasonable once you see the amount of food you get. Service was awesome also. Claire is a great waitress and gave good auggestions. Well paced meal.

Food was great portion size Was generous, service was very good with a smile , very roomy dining area. Would recommend for parties or family gatherings etc.

The manager, Christina, went out of her way to accommodate the physical needs of one of our guests, going so far as to seat the 3 of us at a 6-top to assure that appropriately suitable seating was available. Our server, Kim, was friendly, knowledgeable and solicitous of our comfort and needs. The food was delicious and well within reason for the area. We will be back,

I visited Butera's of Bay Shore to catch up with a friend. What an excellent choice! We each enjoyed selections from the $39 prix fixe menu. The mussels were plentiful and delicious! My salmon was perfectly cooked with crisp-tender fresh veggies! The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was busy for a cold Tuesday night, but the noise level was perfect for table conversation!

Food and ambiance was great. Unfortunately, the service was poor. Waitress was inattentive and forgot multiple things with our order. Very care-free attitude
