Utilizing our two main workhorses, a 9-foot open fire hearth and a custom-built high-capacity smoker, we patiently craft exciting food with soul, both primitive and contemporary. Butchertown Hall is an homage to the intersection of chef and owner Terry Raley's Texas Hill Country roots, and the historic Czech and German butcher shop culture that once lined the residential streets of early Germantown.

Butchertown Hall is always open, 7 days a week for dinner and weekend brunch. Join us in our glorious indoor or outdoor space! We also feature an expansive beer garden, complete with a list of specialty craft brews, superior margaritas and craft cocktails, and an extensive agave collection.

Love this restaurant. The decor is so pretty and the food is awesome. It’s one of my favorites.

Honestly the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. When we were sat, we weren't given water for around 15 minutes. And even then one of the glasses was extremely dirty (very noticeable on the outside of the glass). Not sure who set the table, but they were not very attentive. After that, our server was completely avoiding us. We left after ~30 minutes because our server never came to our table except one time. We had to flag her down to tell her that we were leaving as we couldn't even put in a drink or food order. Normally it's really good at Butchertown Hall, but I guess it's just going downhill.

6pm booking, no table available till 615pm. Seated and waited for ages to be served, the server in the other area brought us water, blonde with glasses, she was lovely. Came for the brisket and after 20 minutes of waiting to be served was told on a Sunday night they had no brisket. If we weren't so hungry we would have walked out. Got the chicken, brussel sprouts, broccoli and fries. Chicken was dry and served with a sour mayonaise type sauce. My wife asked for no Tortilla, but i wanted them, none were brought. The food seemed reheated or re-fried and smothered in oil/butter to hide the fact. Fries barely had parmesan, The brussel sprouts are good. Not sure if the air-conditioning was out but they had fans blowing through the restaurant and it was humid. Disappointed 😞

The AC was broken on the hottest day of the year. We were dying and complained and nothing was done to make our experience better. The should have warned all the reservations that would have been smart. The food was average at best.

We had a reservation and we’re not told ahead of time that the AC was not working. It was extremely hot in the restaurant which made for an uncomfortable dinner. Food was very good but the lack of AC made for a less than enjoyable experience. Should have been notified ahead of time so we could have made a decision

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. He answered our questions and made recommendations that we were all happy with. The food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

My first barbecue experience and it was an amazing one. Shout out to our waiter Avery, who was patient with us and offered impeccable service. We will return upon our next trip to Nashville.

We drove to Nashville for a birthday dinner at Butcher Town Hall. Unfortunately, it fell far short of our expectations. Despite having reservations, the hostess informed us we needed to be out by a certain time – not exactly a warm welcome. It felt like a bad omen for the rest of the night. The service was subpar; the waitress simply dropped off our bottled water without even pouring the first glass. She barely returned to check on us. As for the food, it was shockingly below average compared to my visit last year. I can't recommend this place anymore and won't be returning.
