Servicio y comida increíbles! La mesa un poco pequeña y nos enviaron a la parte de atrás, pero aún así valió toda la pena. Cenamos deliciosos y pasamos una noche muy agradable

Server ( Rachel ) was outstanding Ordered a ribeye received a New York strip which was tough and flavorless “ whipped “ potatoes were puréed and super runny. Grilled asparagus was tough and cold Mgr agreed to take potatoes off check and they remained in , and had to ask again to remove them

Solid food with American Wagyu options, attentive service, great ambience for a date night. Price points a bit high for the value. I would come back to sit at the bar.

We had a a great time at the butcher and the bear, we absolutely loved the seasonal chef’s crudo and the meat was nice too. Our experience could not have been better thanks to Kat who was so lovely and sweet making our first time experience one we would like to return for. Thanks Kat!!

I was excited to come here and I thought the vibe was decent. I liked the decor and the bar area was pretty cool. The food just wasn’t good and I’ll take the blame for ordering seafood in a steakhouse. So maybe your experience will be different if you order a steak which you definitely should do. The seafood was bad. The staff was a little weird but they probably took offense to our criticism of the food. Ultimately they comped 2 drinks and one of our food items. I’m not going to come back and I hate to say that but it just wasn’t a positive experience. I wish them the best of luck and hope they take this review as constructive criticism.

What am awesome experience...I was in town with friends to see all three MLB stadiums and decide to check out s few steakhouses while in town. Tried Gibsons and here and as a non Chicago native the difference between these two in wide. Butcher and the bear is an absolute must for anyone who lives in or visits Chicago. We had the ny strip, lamb chops and the beef cheek and all were absolutely perfect
