I discovered Butcher and Rose on Instagram. The hubby and I came from the Detroit area to celebrate our anniversary. I can’t say enough about this place, it was all that and more, from the ambience, service, drinks, cuisine and dessert. The Butcher and Rose did NOT disappoint!

We went to Butcher and Rose for birthday celebrations for both my husband and myself. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful! Our servers were incredibly attentive. There was a snafu with checking us in so we had to wait for our reservation, but they took compensated ua nicely with a free starter! We will be back!

We, like most, have been to CM Restaurants here in Columbus. Butcher & Rose has taken the experience and service up a few notches. We really enjoy the exception table service, personality of the staff member sincerely did shine. The quality of the food was wonderful. For now, it is the place to be seen and the restaurant was overflowing with young and mature guests really enjoying their experience.

The staff were very attentive and polite, everyone was very helpful. Our table had an absolutely delicious spin on the classic cosmopolitan and the miso Sea Bass dish was perfectly buttery and flavorful—each element came together wonderfully. And though the restaurant was packed, our food came out in a very nice cadence that didn’t leave us feeling starved. Additionally, we were celebrating a birthday and it was nice to see a robust menu of appetizing desserts to choose from.

My wife and I visited this newer establishment for the first time to celebrate a special occasion, our 29th wedding anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience from start to finish. The staff commented on and wished us a happy anniversary numerous times. We felt special. We enjoyed the Bibb and French Onion soup before diving into 2 perfectly cooked 8oz filets. The potatoes Anna and asparagus were fabulous. I only wish we had an option of the lunch filet which is 6oz. Excellent, if not rather pricey, wine selection. Tipped our evening off with a wonderful chocolate cake dessert. Although a pricey downtown restaurant, it was well worth it to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you all for making our evening a memorable and very enjoyable evening.

Amazing Experience! We had dinner here for my wife’s bday and it was perfect. She said it was her top 5 best dinner experience she’s ever had—which says a lot because we have visited many higher end restaurants over the years! We will DEFINITELY be back!
