Drove up to meet our son and his girlfriend and picked butcher & barrel Gastopub on a whim. Reviews looked good and the atmosphere fit the bill. We were not disappointed and will be back again!!!

Food was good, drinks were okay. The drinks break down on the bill was kinda odd. The menu is very limited and choices even more limited. Overall it was decent to good but for what you pay vs food and the table arrangement/seating was very close and kind of a cramped was a bit much.

The beet salad was excellent and enough for two. The scallops and the chicken entrees were also very good. I wish they didn't have wrestling on the TV.

Not real impressed with food quality. One vegetable was soggy another was only semi cooked. The steak was decent but salty. Very noisy. Very high priced

Usually have the airline chicken. Great again. My husband had the southern fried chicken sandwich. Great flavors. I might try that one next time.

Chris was our server and did a great job!! Spare rib special was excellent. Charcuterie board had locally produced goat cheese. Salad was excellent and enough for 2. Good quality and portions.

Nice quiet ambiance. Special half price wine on Wednesday. Delicious appetizers,beet salad and scallops.

Went here on a date and was pretty disappointed with the food I ordered. I got the $55 ribeye w/ mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. The steak was mediocre at best. Mostly gristle and fat. The potatoes were very bland. The veggies were good but nothing special. Definitely not worth the price tag. If they seasoned the potatoes and knocked $20 of the price I would have been happy with it. Their charcuterie board was meh. My date had the scallops with curried sweet potatoes which was decent but not spectacular. Overall, we felt kind of ripped off. We won't be going there again. If a place has "Butcher" in the name, they better have a good steak. They don't.
