great busy part of dining/entertainment for ILM and good to have another option in this area. i'd probably have done all 5 but menu is overall a little pricey and for me needs a few more apps/sharables in addition to a few more price positive options. $120 for 2 (2 drinks, 2 wines, 1 half salad with 1 crab cake, 1 entree, tip) on a sunday night means it'll not be a frequented spot per se. enjoyed watching the kitchen work.

Excellent choice for our group of 6. We had a few apps, pork belly buns were delicious. Steaks were perfectly cooked, the bourbon glazed pork chops and scallops were also excellent. Service was top notch. We loved the entire evening.

Shout out to the kitchen for the amazing job they do with steak preparation. Our steaks are always cooked to perfection here! Chef Trisha came out to check on our experience and our server Laura was wonderful.

The most memorable aspect of our meal was the darling young waitress named Lauren. She was friendly,personable and attentive. Our food was hot and delicious and all came out at the same time. Everyone was given what they ordered.

Have you ever had a steak flight with a bourbon flight? Neither had I till Butcher and Barrel by True Blue. Absolutely, savory to the hilt with just the right saltiness and cooked to perfection. Served on a butcher board. Ribeye, NY strip, filet mignon, and kabob duo which we paired with fingerling potatoes and creamy mac and cheese. Did I mention the crab cakes for an appetizer. Oh by the way, I don't like crab cakes but I will devour theirs.
