Bustan is still my favorite spot on the UWS. The food always reminds me that tasty, quality meals are not all that common but at Bustan, they are, indeed, the rule. The staff are remarkably friendly and warm and given how busy they are, this is so appreciated.

Food was good, not great. Service was slow. Restaurant was inadequately air conditioned. Restaurant was too loud. Did not appreciate being seated near to the front door so that each time someone opened door, a rush of heat came in on a particularly hot and humid day. Overall, having been at Bustan many times, this was, by far, my least good experience.

This was my first time there, and I will definitely be going back! The food is really good, fresh and lots of flavor. The menu has so many great selections, I can't wait to try more. The servers and manager were nice and friendly, very welcoming. Nice ambiance and good crowd.

The food was delicious and unusual. The service great and patient given we did a lot of talking before ordering. My only complaint was the unresponsive and kind of nasty maitre d.

Eggplant carpaccio and the taboon bread were excellent. Desserts were also great especially the halva with ice cream. We sat outside and while it was warm it wasn’t a problem for us( including 3 tweens).

I love Bustan; now my friend does too! He had never had the pleasure of a meal at Bustan and said that he couldn't wait to come back. What more could one want!! The food is great, relatively healthy and very tasty. The service, for the most part, was good, although we were slightly rushed, as it's pretty busy (but who can blame them...?). I'll be back there this week, so that should speak for itself!!!
