A TASTE OF ITALY - EXPERIENCE BURRO

We’re a Contemporary Italian Restaurant offering both classic Italian food and dishes with a twist.

Open and serving food all day from noon ‘til late (7 days per week), we offer diners an authentic Italian menu, inspired by both traditional and modern dishes, perfectly complimented by a full wine and cocktail menu, desserts and more.

Our venue is situated in the Old Riccall Mill, a truly unique building full of rustic character and atmosphere. Using natural light and glass to blend a contemporary and classic theme, our exciting new destination is just waiting for you to visit!

The burro is outstanding! We’ve been visiting for a number of years and each time it’s amazing. The food is beautiful the service is great. I would highly recommend.

We are a bit biased because Burro is in our little village, but we absolutely love it! The food is always fantastic and last night was no exception. Perfect gamberoni pizza to share to start then we both had ravioli (one lamb, one lobster). We love all the staff - last night it was Luca, Federica and Valentino looking after us. We are always made so welcome. It’s so nice to see the place full and buzzing!

Excellent service and food as ever. No1 in the area for that special place to go. Always consistent.Have eaten in Michelin starred restaurants where the service is not as good as Burro.

Lovely restaurant on the outskirts of York. The menu is varied and caters for vegetarians/ vegans well. Good cocktail menu. The decor is lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the noise level. As a couple out for a romantic meal we could barely hear each other for the other diners! Shame they couldn’t put couples away from larger, noisier parties.

Great little find. Very busy night for the restaurant so it was quite noisy and we struggled to hear each other speak. Good and service excellent and good value for money would definitely recommend it and we will definitely be back there again

2nd visit to Burro and we took my sister in law and her husband who absolutely loved it. Food and service excellent. Would highly recommend for what ever reason you are looking to visit. The staff are so friendly and attentive.

This is our 2nd visit in 2 weeks. Service,food all excellent. The staff are knowledgeable about the food and wine list. If you can't decide from the fabulous choices they are ready to advice you. Staff always smiling and all look very happy in their role. We will be certainly going to visit again on the near future.
