Sat outside by the river. Very nice and clean. Food was very good, fish was great, fries were a little mushy for me. We come to Burra Burra often.

Our server Allie was a sweet,kind spiritual soul. She made us feel welcome, was extremely attentive. Our conversation with her opened our hearts to her kindness and just made our dining experience deliteful. Even when our small dog was snappy with her, she continued to carry on cheerfully and with a smile in her heart. I can't wait to go back and see her again. Everyone at the restaurant was kind and helpful to.us.

We never miss a chance to eat at Bura Bura when we come to Blue Ridge! I have a weakness for hush puppies and their's are the best I've ever had!!! Sitting at the high table overlooking the river is so peaceful and fun! The service was amazing; I believe our server's name was Cheyenne; she was friendly and perfect timing with every thing! The service was great! AND the wine Margaritas are delicious! 😃👍🍷

We paid for a salad and potato bar, but they were out of potatoes and out of protein for the salad and potatoes. The staff told us it was because we came on a Sunday when they are always out of everything. We ordered lemon with our water- we were told they only had one moldy lemon left- so- no lemons. We asked about limes then- no limes. However, when we ordered the trout- it came out with lemon! Lol! So- hopefully that wasn’t the moldy lemon! We are locals, but we won’t be back at Burra Burra for a long time!!!! 😔

We made a reservation but didn’t need it, they were not crowded. We would have liked a table by the river but they were all occupied. My sister got the chicken salad sandwich which looked on the menu to be made with grapes and nuts I think, when it came it had a curry flavor to it which was not mentioned in the description. It was ok but we now know not to order that again. All other dishes were great, brisket sandwich, burger and fish and chips.

Visited the area on the Blue Ridge scenic railroad and stopped at 11:00 am. I made reservations the night before for 11:15am. The waitress was nice but it took 55 minutes for our food to come out during our two our stop. This left us no time to explore the area. The waitress was good and brought out our drinks quickly. The food was okay but not wonderful. My husband ordered the Rachel with pastrami and it had the butt end of the meat on the sandwich which was too tough to eat. The meat on the 1949 was very dry. The manager was apologetic and offered to take it off our bill but we had already paid. She sent us off with a dessert and explained that they were short staffed in the kitchen. If you have a limited amount of time in the area I wouldn’t suggest this spot.
