Burntwood Tavern is a place where rustic and modern elements mend seamlessly to create a casually-stylish environment. Meeting friends for a quick bite, stepping out for a quick drink, or a place to host your next large celebration - Burntwood is your one stop destination on the Cuyahoga River in downtown Cuyahoga Falls Historic reclaimed barn wood, exposed brick, massive wooden beams complemented by hand blown glass lighting and contemporary touches.create a bright, inviting, and character-filled space for travelers, families, and traditionalist Clevelanders alike. The warm and welcoming atmosphere provides the perfect showcase for its straight forward, chef driven menu of smoked and wood grilled food including prime rib of beef, baby back ribs, faroe island salmon and fresh salads along with sandwiches served with hand cut fries. The bar serves handcrafted cocktails, constructed with fresh juices and house-infused flavored vodka and bourbon, as well as local offerings from a diverse craft beer list. Burntwood Tavern is open daily for lunch, dinner, happy hour, after work crowds, and is a great place to meet for cocktails and conversation. Good options. I ordered a brunch item that was overcooked and not presented well. They quickly removed and made an alternate selection I requested. They removed charges from our bill. The server was very responsive and highly apologetic. The other 3 patrons had excellent meals.

My wife and I were in from out of town for a sporting event so we thought we would grab some dinner next to the river. Burntwood Tavern had great views from the outside decks so we made the reservation. Josh our server was awesome. He made some suggestions and added in some of his favorites. The service from Josh was top notch. The food didn’t live up to the hype. The homemade tater tot appetizer we should have done without and went another direction. I got the Burntwood Burger and it was solid. It is some I would get again. My wife got the Reast Pasta and sent it back. The noodles were lukewarm, the chicken was dry and the flavor was lacking. When you think of Rasta, you think of Jamaica and we thought it would have some Jamaica jerk seasoning added some heat. It didn’t. The the atmosphere and ambience was really nice. It is a popular spot so it was a little noisy, but we were still able to have a conversation and hear each other. We might consider it again, but I don’t think we’re going to go out of our way to have dinner there.

Our experience @ Burntwood was great. Beautiful river view nice cocktail and beer selection. We took advantage of happy hour. Crispy chicken sandwich was great. Huge servings.

I always love Burntwood. The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The service is always friendly and timely. The food has never disappointed and has been excellent! My only complaint is portion size of the salad for the soup and salad combo. I ordered a Caesar salad and it looked like 2 romaine leaves had been used. The cost for this meal is $18.00. That seems a bit steep to me.

The atmosphere was awesome; however, I ordered the harvest chicken salad and it was very, very small!! For $18 I basically had a chicken breast and about cup of lettuce, etc. I felt ripped off. My colleagues both had sandwiches, which were much better portions. I have dined here before, and something must have been off in the kitchen to receive such a paltry entree. I left hungry!

We had horrible service. Sat 15 minutes without being acknowledged. Finally had to ask the hostess for a server. Continued to have poor service the entire time. Food was ok.

Dinner with friends . Odd side dish for tacos ( sweet potatoes) . Honey chicken was dry and the grilled chicken sandwich also needed more sauce. Burger med rare but came out rare. Sat outside and was nice, waitress was good. Prices too high for quality and options . Probably a one and done unless drinks and appetizers next time.
