Burntshirt Vineyards presents its new Vintner's Table Restaurant and Tasting Room Wine Bar at our Hendersonville, NC winery and vineyard. Featuring one of Hendersonville’s largest kitchens, the on-site restaurant offers fresh and exciting farm to table style dishes emphasizing local ingredients with a fine dining flare to accompany our award-winning vine-to-bottle wines. We have a beautiful outdoor patio; we are family and pet friendly! We offer wine + dine pairings monthly, wine flights and slushies! We can accommodate parties of all sizes and encourage larger groups to visit us for all your celebrations to come! Had a great birthday lunch celebration at Burntshirt on a Sunday with 7 in attendance. The food and service were great and the prices were very reasonable. We were seated outside on a great looking covered patio. Will definitely go back

The restaurant/tasting room was new, well-maintained and suited for any occasion. We enjoyed the fish sandwich (lunch) w/ fries and would highly recommend it. Cabernet was quite good, and there were several local beer options to choose from. Our server was great, another server became quite territorial when she wasn't assigned to our table. Overall, we would recommend this restaurant for date nights and adult gatherings.

We arrived a bit early for our 12:15 pm lunch reservation and the staff was diligently racing around getting ready to seat guests. Apparently the door had been unlocked too early and there were a few other guests in the retail area aa well as at the bar. Not the best start but happily that was rectified by a sincere welcome by the hostess who seated us outside on a lovely covered patio. The wine list which included wines by the glass ( 4 ounce or 9 ounce), flights and bottles. Cocktails and beers were also available. I chose a 4 ounce Reserve Riesling and my husband a 4 ounce Reserve Gruner Veltliner. Both were good and we bought a bottle of each. The menu had a decent number of choices. We shared the roasted beets with blue cheese, pecans and a vinaigrette - it was delicious and refreshing on a warm afternoon. I selected the fish and chips - but they had sold out of grouper the day before so no fish options were available. We called an audible and shared the signature burger ( the patty includes short rib, brisket and chuck) which was dressed with a brie sauce and bacon jam and served on a brioche bun with french fries. It was delicious. Our server was polite, personable, and professional. Food delivery was prompt and the runner was polite. A very enjoyable experience that we will repeat.

The place is peaceful and beautiful, we had delicious wine, dessert and salads, the server was adorable.

Really not a place to go for dinner. I thought it would be a place where they would suggest wine pairings and more of an Italian menu. The food was fair and the salads were extremely over priced. I would return for the wine but not to eat.

-Lunch reservations on Mother's Day, placed wine/sandwich order at 1:06pm. Had to go to bartender for help with table. No one at front. -Waited for wine flights. Wrong flights delivered. Manage later returned with what we said we ordered. Never explained the wine, unlike other vineyard experiences. We had to ask someone else for help. -Waiter came over, said food was almost ready. Said they were really stressed, understaffed. Manager frantically walked around outdoor patio flipping her hair and looked completely overwhelmed. -The waiter checked in multiple times. Continued to say food was almost ready. Multiple times. Later said the kitchen was backlogged and their system "glitched" though we consistently saw food being delivered to tables who were seated after us. -We waited almost an hour and a half. Other tables were filing complaints as well. -Continued to be told the sandwiches (a burger and a reuben) were coming. -Waiter arrived and then asked if we would be mad if we didn’t get our burger and sandwich. -Asked to speak with manager, she came over and said she would go to the kitchen, check with waiter -She didn’t come back to the table -Waiter came over and told us we could just walk. Was clearly embarassed. We said we don’t "walk", just wanted lunch we had order almost 90 minutes ago. -Called manager over w/ waiter at table as well, said she couldn’t give us food -Asked why she can't just go to the kitchen and expedite the sandwiches to make a quick order if this was really a missed ticket. She said she couldn't do that. -We asked for bill to be comped or at least a gift card -Manager said she could not do that. Said she "would not charge us for the food." We said, "What food??" -Placed order at 106p, evidenced on ticket, she ran our bill charging us for the wine at 2:26pm. Told her she should be embarassed. -She said she was not embarassed at all. We are contacting GM of Burnshirt. Stay away. Too many other better options. Happy Mother's Day.
