Celebrating my husbands birthday, the perfect night at Burnt Truffle. The tasting menu with wine flight was superb, we can not pick our favourite course because it was all good! So tasty, lovely staff & the wine that complimented each course was spot on!

Usual friendly knowledgeable service, and great food. Sometimes food comes a bit later than the food which is a shame as we drink the wine, but not that long! No photo of butter roasted venison loin, sorry

We haven’t been to Burnt Truffle for some time. It was a “tasting menu”. Food & service were excellent. The wine was explained really well before it was poured. We would thoroughly recommend going to this restaurant.

The restaurant was full which created a great atmosphere. Lovely food with some really interesting flavour combinations and the wine pairings were spot on. Very friendly staff who seemed to enjoy their work. We were particularly impressed with the sommelier who clearly knew her wines very well indeed.

Excellent food and service. We were sat in the middle of the room and it was a bit tight for space as we had 6 small plates for sharing. Our table could have done with being elsewhere and leaving a space. Upstairs was completely empty and spread out would have been more private. Excellent though.

Fabulous bistro, wonderful food and staff. While other premises are getting ever more expensive, they can’t match the quality of elite bistros. This is our first visit to Burnt Truffle but we’ll be back!

Fantastic food, ambience and service. Highly recommend the featherblade of beef! A fabulous bistro, cosy ambience with attentive and friendly service. Imagine dining at home with friends but having premium chefs preparing your food, that is Burnt Truffle.

The waitress service was ok. The food was awful, I’ve seen better getting dished out in a care home. I was looking forward to a nice roast dinner and I got a watery sloppy roast dinner - greasy watery gravy with sloppy wet beef that look like it had come out of a microwave. The kale and runner beans would be best served on another dish. Honestly it is one of the worse roast dinners I’ve eaten. I really wouldn’t eat there again. Yes for a roast it was expensive but I wouldn’t mind at all if it was nice.
