                                                                    Food came quickly . After we ate the staff were nowhere to be seen. We couldn’t attract the attention of those that were vaguely in the area and ended up having to go to the front desk to ask for our dirty dishes to be cleared after a 20 minute wait.

                                                                    A friend’s birthday, they took our order, an hour later nothing had arrived, no starters or mains. When questioned they said it was a system failure in the kitchen. However she told me some of the food order went to the bar and the rest to the kitchen, the manger’s explanation didn’t stack up, she was flustered when asked follow up question’s, her responses still didn’t make sense. If the order went to the bar why didn’t that come to the table? She couldn’t explain it. To chase our order, I went looking for the manager, she got to the table before I got back, I tried to sit down, she was blocking my seat, “excuse me” x 3 she ignored me, eventually she looked my way, I explained I’m the one chasing our order and not the other diners, strangely she kept ignoring me, making a bad situation much worse. She apologised but the damage was done and there was still no sign of any food. Not once in that hour did someone come over to ask if we needed anything, I asked for water 4 times and eventually got it. I’m type 1D, waiting so long for any food didn’t help my levels either and left me feeling unwell resulting in a hypo. All in all, dreadful experience. They did bring us something but couldn’t bring us what we ordered because it would take too long and the kitchen was busy. In all honesty it really wasn’t worth the wait, average food at best, pretty tasteless, ruined birthday dinner and everyone feeling pretty unhappy about the whole thing.

                                                                    The food here is sooo good, very consistent. If you want a large one, I recommend ordering in advance by phone! Cocktails are always great and new/unique, not the same copied and pasted menu/options you usually get in most of restaurants.
