Buona Forchetta started in 2011 as a craving of Matteo’s to bring some of his native Italy to our adopted home of South Park. We found the perfect corner and built the perfect oven. Since then, we’ve strived to deliver an exceptional and authentic Italian experience to our customers keeping our focus on the simple recipes that Matteo grew up on. We owe a huge “grazie” to our neighbors who have joined us on this awesome journey, and we hope that you will continue to be part of our story.

This is our first time at this location. We loved it. We have been to Cornodo many times and the new location in Newport. The food is always delicious and amazing. They have many gluten free options for me.

Absolutely worth it. Would help if chairs were a bit more comfortable, and the tables leveled.

I am so grateful to the restaurant for taking our party of six that unexpectedly expanded to a party of 10 and being so gracious about putting together a table for 10 at the last minute in the area outdoors. You may have to park a block or two away, but it is totally worth it! I’m so happy that the quality of the ingredients was wonderful, the portions were so generous two people could easily share them, and The needs of the group, including vegans and gluten-free were beautifully accommodated. We had a wonderfully patient server who waited for us to be ready in making our decisions because we had so many great conversations going. I will definitely be back with my family!

The food is outstanding! Worth every single penny and not overpriced. Portions are large. Not skimpy on any ingredients. I could not make the lasagne for the price they charge and it is delicious. The only place I can find real Italisn baby artichoches. Burrata salad amazing. Calamari appetizer large, light and fluffy breading. No heavy oil taste. Staff is the best. Great atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating. I love this restaurant.

The pasta is delish, the pizza is also great, great wine. The place is nice but casual so definitely a weekend hangout where dress code is not going to matter.

We really enjoyed dinner but the noise level was way too loud. In addition to the people all around us they had a guitar player (who was good) but it just added to the loud background. It was hard to hear our friends across the table. We had a delicious pizza to share as appetizer. Then we shared 1 salad for the 4 of us and it was very generous. We had the eggplant parmesan and our friends had the cioppino which was very delicious. We tasted the house wine and didn't like it but the glass of Sangiovese, which was the same price, was good. Our server was excellent.

Had a wonderful lunch of pizzas, pasta and salads. Huge portions of authentic Italian food at reasonable prices in an adorable neighborhood patio setting. Love this place! They staff is friendly and attentive. A delightful experience.
