The Benedict Conundrum

IN 1894, Lemuel Benedict, a wall street broker, who was suffering from a hangover, ordered some buttered toast, crisp bacon, two poached eggs and a hooker of hollandaise sauce at the Waldorf Hotel in New York. Over the past 30 years we have served it every way imaginable recently we served the 2 poached eggs on half a bagel with bacon avocado and hollandaise, our most popular version ever, however we did get some complaints on trip advisor that there was only half a bagel, so we took the advice and served both halves would you believe nobody ate the second half so we are back to half a bagel.
