Restaurant owner Carlos Centurion’s newest Bulla (boo-ya) Gastrobar location in SouthPark at 4310 Sharon Rd., Suite W01. Bulla Gastrobar joins the Charlotte community with a contemporary spin on traditional Spanish tapas, an imaginative cocktail program, and an energetic atmosphere with extensive indoor and outdoor seating.

Named after the Spanish slang term for “chatter,” Bulla Gastrobar offers a menu that boasts a mix of “alta cocina” and traditional approaches to tapas, featuring innovative techniques that are applied to classic recipes to yield modern yet authentic dishes.

    So delicious. had grilled octopus and the ceviche . Very nice size portions . Server was lovely but service was a bit slow . Ate outside and there was a very noisy girls out group across from us that I really thought was way too loud

    Went in for brunch for some friends of ours. We chose the restaurant as we have been to Bulla several times in the past for brunch and always had a good experience. This time I would say that we had a good experience as well. The food was spot on. However, the big issue that we had is that the food all came out very spaced out... While ordering from the tapas menu, we would expect that. However, in this case we all ordered off of the large meal menu and the entrees showed up spaced out by nearly ten minutes from first person's food to the last person's food. This made for an awkward situation and ultimately several people having cold food as no one wanted to eat without everyone having their food. I would suggest that the servers and kitchen either make the specific mention to state to the table that food will be served as it comes out or to instruct the kitchen to fire the entrees strategically so that it can be served together. Still love the restaurant and we will be back, but perhaps not with another couple to avoid this awkward situation.

    We ordered appetizers then 10 minutes later ordered our entrees. The waiter told us she would hold our orders until the paella was almost ready so the entrees would all come out at the same time. Two minutes after the appetizer showed up she brought all the entrees except the paella. By the time my wife was served everyone else was done eating. Not great service on that count.

    The food did not disappoint; we tried several dishes and nothing was wasted among four people. Our waitress was helpful and attentive as were all of the employees. I will definitely go back to try more of the food offerings.

    I love this place, the service is always excellent, the food very good, this time I ordered the paella steak, unfortunately the steak wasn’t tender as I expected, For a $40 dish the meat should be better.

    We had an alright experience today. Probably won't come back for any other time other than dinner. Our orders were wrong and not what you would expect for the price you pay.
